Rocky Top Tennessee

Chad and I took the boys to Knoxville Tennessee to watch a football game.  On our way up to the game we stopped and bought some Vol gear.  We are so glad we did...EVERYONE was wearing ORANGE.  The Vols fans are very loyal to their team.  Neyland Stadium is gorgeous and sits right by the Tennessee River.  There were lots of houseboats and tailgating going on.  Their were 90,000+  fans at the game and towards the end of the game we finally got to hear how LOUD Neyland Stadium can get.  The game with UAB went into overtime and the crowd started cheering - the place shook!  It was amazing.  We can't wait to go again next September and cheer the GRIZ on when they play the Vols. 

Kennedy is THREE months!

Wow, where is the time going?  I no longer have a newborn...Kennedy is an infant now!  She is such a good baby - who LOVES to watch her brothers and squeals in delight.  She is going to make sure she has a voice in the household!!  Her smile is amazing - the boys love to see who can make her smile and giggle. 

Bry Bry turns FIVE!

My "little" Bry Bry turned five on September 16th!  He got to celebrate with cupcakes at his school - which he thought was awesome!  Having 18 other kids singing Happy Birthday to him made him SMILE from ear to ear.  All he wanted to do was go camping in the backyard with his family...so we went and bought a new tent and marshmellows!!  We had a great night watching stars fall. 

SOCCER

Drew and Bryan are playing soccer this Fall.  They love it!!  Drew has practice on Thursday nights and he plays two games on Saturday at noon.  Drew is starting to get a little more aggressive - he is our "calm" one!  So we are proud of him for getting in the mix and kicking the ball!! 

Bryan has practice and plays two games at 8am every Saturday.  In his first game he scored two GOOOAAALLLSSS!!!  He was so excited (and so were we)!! 

Chad helps ref Drew's games - which is a workout!  He has decided he wants to help Coach next year and the boys are pretty excited about that.

Drew starts 1st grade

 Drew started 1st grade on Friday, August 6th.  It seems like yesterday that he was born, how in the World can he be starting First Grade?!?!  My boys are growing up so fast....I wish I could press a "pause" button.  Or at least a "slow down" button!!  I need to remember to put the vacum away and the dust cloth down and play more with them.  Because before I know it they will all be in College and I will have wondered where the time went. 

 Drew is wearing his FAVORITE color to school! 



Bryan is in Pre-School!

On August 2, Bryan went to school for the very first time!  He was so excited to meet new friends and PLAY.   There are five other kids in his class from our neighborhood and they are the best of friends.  Bryan's teacher is, Ms. Cindy, and she is a great teacher with lots of spunk.  He gets to go on a field trip every month and ride a BUS!  He thinks that is the best part of school...riding the bus.  *laffs*  Ms. Cindy says "he is the best helper I have in class". 

 Tyler was a little sad the day his best friend started school.  He loves to go pick him up at the end of the day - he really misses his brothers.
